Ecological Design

Spiral in an Ammonite FossilTM&A works across many disciplines to bring awareness of ecological design to different communities and projects. We design and teach in areas such as green and natural building, sustainable landscape design, and sustainable/regenerative community development.

Recent Projects Include:

Teaching at the Finger Lakes Permaculture Design Course on topics including ecological engineering, ecological wastewater treatment (constructed wetlands and composting toilets), and holistic health.

A series of workshops on different fields relating to green/natural building that we have given at the East Coast Natural Building Colloquium in 2008 and 2010.

Input into the design process for the $4 million reconstruction of the Brattleboro Food Coop.

Input into the Sustainable Brattleboro campaign initiated by the Brattleboro Development Credit Corporation

Design consultation for the Scarborough, Maine YMCA, a project with the goal of building the greenest YMCA in America
